How to change mt4 password

To be able to change Metatrader4 (MT4) password, you will need the current master password
Open your Metatrader4 (MT4) trading platform on PC or laptop. Choose “Tools” menu and click on “Options”
On the pop-up window, choose “Server” tab and click “Change” button.
A “Change Password” window will open. Enter your current master password (1). Then choose whether you want to change master of investor password (2). Type in your new password (3) and then confirm it by re-typing the password again (4). Click “OK” to finish and confirm.
Please remember that to be able to change any password, you will need the current master password.
Open Metatrader4 (MT4) app on your Android devices.
Open the menu ( = ) and tap on your displayed account number at the top.
On the next screen, tap on the three dots at top right and choose change password.
On the next screen, tap on the “Change Master Password” to choose which password to change. You will be presented with 2 options whether to change your Master Password or to change your Investor Password.
Choose the “Change Master Password” if you want to change your current password or choose the “Change Investor Password” if you want to change or create Investor Password for your trading account.
Open Metatrader4 (MT4) application on your iPad.
Tap the “Human Icon” at top left corner (1). Tap the 3 dots next to your account number (2), then choose “Change Password” (3).
You will then be given 2 options. Choose “Change Master Password” to change master password and choose “Change Investor Password” to change investor password.
Type in your current master password and type in your new master or investor password. To confirm, please tap “Change” button (4).
Open Metatrader4 (MT4) app on your iPhone. Go to “Settings” (1) then tap on your account (2)
On the next screen tap on the 3 dots on the right side (3). You will then be able to see some account information (4). Choose “Change Password” (5)
Choose which password you want to change (6). Enter your current master password (7). Then type in your new password (8) and confirm it (9). Choose to activate “Save Password” (10) if you want MT4 app to remember your password and avoid having to type in password every time you connect. Finally tap “Change” (11) to complete the process.
