Open your MT4 client terminal on PC or laptop.

There are 2 ways to show or hide specific or all symbols on MT4 trading platform.

Click “View” in menu bar and choose “Symbols” in the subsequent menu.

Or do a right-click anywhere inside “Marketwatch” column and choose “Symbols”.

A new window will pop-up. Inside the symbols window you can see that instruments are grouped into 6 different groups (green icon). Click on the plus sign next to the green icon to show the instruments inside that group. You can choose to show or hide certain instruments by double-clicking the icon next to instruments’ name. Yellow icon (as shown by blue arrow) indicates that the symbol is enabled and shown. Grey icon (as shown by black arrow) indicates that the symbol is disabled and not shown/hidden.

If you want to show all the symbols or hide all the symbols, then simply do a right-click inside “Marketwatch” column and in the subsequent menu choose either “Show All” or “Hide All”.

Open MT4 app on your Android device.

You will be taken directly to the “Quotes” tab. If you are not on the “Quotes” tab, then tap on the bottom left icon as shown below (1).

To show some or all symbols, tap on the “+” (plus sign) at top right corner.

On the next screen choose which symbols to show from the categories below and the symbols will be added to your “Quotes” tab.

To hide some or all symbols, tap the “Pencil Icon” at the top right corner of the “Quotes” tab.

On the next screen, tap on the “Trash Bin Icon” at top right corner and choose the symbols that you want to hide by ticking on the corresponding boxes (1). Finally, just tap on the “Trash Bin icon” at top right corner one more time (2). Those selected symbols would be removed from “Quotes” tab.

Open MT4 app on your iOS device. You will be taken to the “Trade” tab. If you are not inside the “Trade” tab, then just tap on “Trade” tab on the lower left side of MT4 (1).

To show some or all symbols, tap on the “+” (plus sign) in the center (2).

On the next screen choose which symbols to show from the categories below and the symbols will be added to your “Trade” tab

To hide some or all symbols, tap on the “Pencil Icon” at the top left corner of the “Trade” tab.

On the next screen choose which symbols to remove by tapping the circles next to symbols name (1) then tap on the “Trash Bin Icon” to delete the symbols (2).

Open MT4 app on your iPhone.

To show some or all symbols, tap on the “+” (plus sign) (1).

Choose from the groups available which symbols you want to add (2). Once you choose the group, you will be presented with the individual symbols. Add the symbol by tapping on the “Green plus sign” (3).

To hide some or all symbols, tap on the “Pencil Icon” (4).

Tap on the circle next to the symbols name (5). Symbols chosen to be removed will have red circle with tick mark inside it. Choose “Trash bin icon” (6) to remove the symbols.
